Case Study 3

A female British citizen with 2 young children was referred to BFT via her social worker. The family desperately needed help. She had mounting debts as well as suffering domestic abuse from her partner. Due to the fear of honour based violence she felt compelled to stay in the marriage. Her partner did not support her in any way. BFT supplied her with financial aid to help with the debts as well as giving her regular food packs and food vouchers. She was also given emotional help and guidance.
